It's been about a month, haha, and summer's been great to me so far! Been really busy getting the house all together for a visit from my family [they're coming tomorrow!!]

Excited!!

My big box of stuff from RITZ finally came!! I can't wait to finish my room already so I can start my crafty experiments! I'm hoping to get all the crafty things done before my family! comes on July 14th!! I want to make them each something to take home so I want to make little albums beforehand to just add pictures into quickly.

On another note, the wonderful blogger at Paper Craft Pleasures is offering some awesome blogcandy! A bind-it-all and some O-wires which are great for making mini-albums, or books for children. :) It's such a neat little tool that I've seen videos on, but don't currently one!

I can't wait to create things to share with everyone else. Now I feel like a little blogger that has nothing to back what I say, but soon enough I'll be posting images and everything! I'm going to order the ProvoCraft Cricut Expression machine and I plan on using the Sure Cuts A Lot software a ton! Using my own designs and some of the great free fonts offered all over the internet will be great! Not only for papercrafts, but I want to make a little wall art for my room when it's finished. I can't wait until I receive it!

So at RitzCamera.com there are a few specials! 20% off scrapbooking supplies, free shipping on orders over $100, plus they don't charge sales tax! After hearing this from my dad (he found out while we were looking for the crop-a-dile) I decided to go for a hunt on what I want to buy from there. A few days ago I finally made my list and ordered it all! It's only a few days until everything arrives! I cannott wait! The next thing I want is one of those flip HD camcorders, but at the same time, I want a regular camcorder that maybe takes stills too, I haven't decided, but I'll wait a while until I actually buy one.

I've finally graduated high school (I know I'm so young!) and it's the SUMMERTIME! now.

I worked today and I work tomorrow, but next week my boyfriend and his family and I are all going to Las Vegas! I'm so excited! It's going to be a blast.

I can't wait for my room to finish up soon, I have nowhere to scrap and there's so much I want to get done. Haha.

Renovation: Bedroom!

So yesterday I finally got down to cleaning the heap of papery mess in my room, and today my mother and I finally painted my room. It looks fabulous! Before it was a really closing, dark sea blues. By that I mean it faded from dark blue on the bottom to light blue on the top/ceiling. The color and work done was beautiful, but after what seems like 6 years of having it like that, and growing a little more, I'm ready for change. The new color is a lot more sophisticated and open. It's a beige/brown, really light color. It opens up my room so much more, I absolutely love it. Right now my room is covered in plastic so I'm going to sleep on the couch for the night.
I graduate in 4 days! I can't wait.

So the plans I have for my room are as follows:

• Get a curtain of some sort to work as a cover/door for my closet
• Take out the gross dirty washed out blue carpet and replace it with bamboo hardwood flooring [what we have in the rest of the house]
• Create the following
  - bookshelf for behind my bed acting as a headboard
  - cushion for the side of my bed/the wall acting as a back of a couch or seat
  - craft shelfing system for all of my supplies and future supplies (I'm most excited for this) + a little section for my school books
  - a craft table!!! with some storage
  - an embellishment rack [almost like a spice rack ..]
• Buy a really soft rug for under the table, I like to create sitting closer to the floor. I feel more at peace when I'm closer to the earth, idk why. Hahah, but I do love being in planes!
• Put everything in it's rightful place!!

I have a wishlist of things I'd like to buy. I may put it on here, so I can progressively check it off, and have a place that doesn't erase or get recycled, ha.
