Happy New Year!

I'm excited for the upcoming year!
I don't really have resolutions, because I never meet them, but I do have some goals and aspirations ... I plan to make a mini album of these goals too, that way I can look back and hopefully fulfill them!

I plan on losing weight. I know I'm not overweight or anything, but less than a year ago I was 7-8 pounds lighter, and I felt a lot healthier. In order to do that I don't plan on necessarily eating out less, but I plan on exercising more. My goal is do a 5 mile run every other week, and 2 mile run the other weeks. I know if I run 5 miles every week I'll just wear myself out.

I plan on getting a job. Scrapbook stuff isn't free! Hahah.

I plan on doing very well in school. I didn't focus hard enough last year, and lost track of what I was there for. Now that I have some idea in what I want to be, I feel like I can focus on my main goal.

Manage my temper. I have a really quick & bad temper. I honestly don't know how to control it! But it doesn't help with my family or boyfriend at all. So I hope to maybe find something that releases tension and frees my mind. Yoga maybe. Now that my mom and I have Your Shape w/ Jenny McCarthy, I can do a little more relaxing exercises.

Save up enough money for both Robert and I to go to New York in December and spend our NYE in the city! I love it there, and I miss all my family so much. The past 1 and a half-ish year we've spent most of our time with his family, I really want him to get to know my family!

Work harder and harder on my designing skills! If I ever wish to be a graphic designer, I need to practice.

Blog & do more videos. This is weird haha, but I enjoy blogging. I've enjoyed blogging since I was in 7th grade I think. And now that I have a camcorder, videos will be easier to do, since I Won't have to tilt my head to look at the computer when using my webcam. I had a really odd setup before, hahaha.

What are your resolutions or goals?

Normally I don't spend too much time thinking about the new year because most of the time it just feels like another day, but I feel like 2010 is going to be an excellent year.

  1. Hi Phoenix, what a fantastic blog you have. I scanned through it so that I could familiarize myself with what you like and the mini I'm making for our swap. I wish blogging was around when I was your age, going to college. I love that you are in San Diego -- I do miss being there. I love your energy and your adventures you take. You are so talented and I know that you will reach your goals. I'm glad you liked the idea of the goal book I made for 2010. Being older (I just realized I'm old enough to be your mother - all my kids are older than you - lol! ;D) I tend to be kind of geriatric and I've got to cut that out - good grief! So I promise I won't be this old fart and will just keep it fun! :) YES! 2010 is going to be an excellent year!
