Terry's mini album!

I had a blast making this! I tried video taping my whole process, but I kept forgetting to record!
For my next project I definitely will. :)

You can see the album she made for me here:

Thanks for visiting,

Clean up ...

I haven't been crafting at all for the past few days, besides making a nice little underwear organizer for my drawer.. mostly because my mom and I are doing a major overhaul of my room. So it's a complete messing going all the way out to the hallway! Hahah, but once it is finished, I'm going to be really excited to show everybody a video. There are so many neat things that my mom has come up with!

Projects I'll be working on for this month:
- My TWS swap mini for Terry! I'm excited for this one.
- Cards! I want to create a lot of cards so when an event comes along, I don't have to rush to make a card and it turns out ... not so pretty.
- Valentines gift

I think this, although very little, is enough for now. Hahah. A big project is the reorganizing of my room!

Happy New Year!

I'm excited for the upcoming year!
I don't really have resolutions, because I never meet them, but I do have some goals and aspirations ... I plan to make a mini album of these goals too, that way I can look back and hopefully fulfill them!

I plan on losing weight. I know I'm not overweight or anything, but less than a year ago I was 7-8 pounds lighter, and I felt a lot healthier. In order to do that I don't plan on necessarily eating out less, but I plan on exercising more. My goal is do a 5 mile run every other week, and 2 mile run the other weeks. I know if I run 5 miles every week I'll just wear myself out.

I plan on getting a job. Scrapbook stuff isn't free! Hahah.

I plan on doing very well in school. I didn't focus hard enough last year, and lost track of what I was there for. Now that I have some idea in what I want to be, I feel like I can focus on my main goal.

Manage my temper. I have a really quick & bad temper. I honestly don't know how to control it! But it doesn't help with my family or boyfriend at all. So I hope to maybe find something that releases tension and frees my mind. Yoga maybe. Now that my mom and I have Your Shape w/ Jenny McCarthy, I can do a little more relaxing exercises.

Save up enough money for both Robert and I to go to New York in December and spend our NYE in the city! I love it there, and I miss all my family so much. The past 1 and a half-ish year we've spent most of our time with his family, I really want him to get to know my family!

Work harder and harder on my designing skills! If I ever wish to be a graphic designer, I need to practice.

Blog & do more videos. This is weird haha, but I enjoy blogging. I've enjoyed blogging since I was in 7th grade I think. And now that I have a camcorder, videos will be easier to do, since I Won't have to tilt my head to look at the computer when using my webcam. I had a really odd setup before, hahaha.

What are your resolutions or goals?

Normally I don't spend too much time thinking about the new year because most of the time it just feels like another day, but I feel like 2010 is going to be an excellent year.

Happy Holidays!

I know! It's so late and the only holiday left [I think] is the New Year!! I haven't updated much because I've been so busy with the holidays! I had a great Christmas week! I spent a lot of time with my family and my boyfriend's family. I did plenty of shopping. This year I didn't expect much because of the rough economy, but my parents surprised my brother and I! I got a new Purple Cows trimmer, and I absolutely love it! It's a guillotine/rotary. It cuts beautifully! I still have a bit of getting used to, But I'm very glad. I think I'll keep my really old Fiskars one to cut chipboard though.

Today, my boyfriend, Robert, and I did a little personal shopping, and ended up getting a new PS3 game [for him to play at my house, until he gets his PS3] and ....

A CAMCORDER!

I'm so excited. Robert has been recording videos with the "Cycorder" program on his jailbroken iPhone, and I've been wanting a camcorder to record scrapbook videos ... and my dogs! So we decided to cave in and get one. The one we got is compact with very high quality! For me at least. It's a Sony Handycam, I'm not exactly sure what version. So you can expect plenty more videos in the year(s) to come!

As some of you may know, Kim Davis and Dawn Edwards, have teamed up to create their own blog showcasing their super cute crafts and their awesome friendship! You should definitely check out their blog, not only for what I'm about to tell you, but also to check out their really cute projects! Recently Dawn has featured a mini-album that I absolutely adore! And Kim hosted a fiber/ribbon swap on The Scrap Beach, which was amazing of her!

To promote their blog, and celebrate the reaching of 100 subscribers, they are having the most amazing giveaway! One particular item I absolutely LOVE in their giveaway is the Tim Holtz Tonic Scissors. I currently don't own them, but I would love to! Hahah. I purchased some "non stick" scissors from the Japanese Dollar store previously, and I was ... very unhappy with them. To say the least! They stick more than regular scissors! Hahah, how terrible!

Please visit their blog at http://wwscrapdivas.blogspot.com/, enter their blog candy, look through their projects & previous posts, friend them on The Beach!! :)

For now, that's all! Hopefully I'll have some great scrap videos in the future! I'm way too excited to start using my new camcorder at Sea World tomorrow with my boyfriend! I'll probably come back in the new year with some great videos!

I have a lot more in store than just videos for the new year, including my own personal scrapbook paper collection, free SVG files for Sure Cuts a Lot & Make the Cut, and my work for classes, haha which isn't exciting!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a GREAT end of the year. We're coming really close to the end, and I'm just way too excited for the new year!
2009 for me was absolutely AMAZING! I have no complaints, I'm so surprised that nothing terrible has happened, and so thankful.

How was your year?!

A new year is on the rise ...

I'm so excited for this new year!
This past semester [which officially ends tomorrow] I was taking all the wrong classes, I was completely unfocused, and unfortunately, I failed most of my classes. :(
This upcoming semester, I will be taking classes that focus on what I want to be "when I grow up." My dream is to become a graphic designer, I'm not sure what exactly I want to do in graphic design, but I hope to work for a company that will appreciate my work.
Lately, I've been working on my own little scrapbook collection that'll be packed with beautiful, elegant papers and embellishments ...
What I'd love to do one day is design my own scrapbook line professionally printed, and everything. A true inspiration is Melody Ross, she started her own scrapbook company, which is so amazing! And even though she doesn't own it anymore [Chatterbox], she's still doing great things with "Brave Girls Club" and she even came out with another line for Michaels! How awesome is that!!

So here's a sneak peak of something I designed today, from scratch. I'm hoping to finish sometime in January ...
I'm proud of this specific paper because I designed the damask shape! I was truly inspired today by so many things. I hope to keep this streak of inspiration going!!

I'm terrible at making new posts! I get so worked up with school, I suck at school, by the way.

So I'm off to spend the night studying for my History final!
